Our Objective Found...TUNA!

Left dock before the sun came up over the mountains. Massive gray clouds greet us with light rain and flashes of light. We headed straight towards El Banco slowly cruising with eyes scanning for obstacles in our path. Rendezvous with the bait panga for some fresh Google eyes. The sun came out as we were closing in on Punta de Mita, put the pedal down and set course. The ocean was flat and it was a smooth ride. The clouds lifted high in the sky, signaling the rains end for the day. The warm water is officially back, with a average water temp of 87 degrees. There were a few other boats with the same objective, TUNA! In no time we found a boils of small tuna and they were hungry!! We started trolling and got bites right away, they were going after everything we threw in: cedar plugs, poppers and hurricanes. After that we threw in some google eyes and they produced results as well!! There were boils of fish everywhere in sight!! By the time we had 14 on board we decided to turn the boat around and head back in. The big Tuna weren't out, the biggest we caught was around 45kg, it was still a blast and we used lighter tackle to give a little more of a challenge. We cleaned the catch on the way back, bagged up the booty and safely arrived at dock... Another great day on the water!

Empezamos a tirar lineas e inmediatamente mordieron.
